It’s My Choice

There are many ways to give your body the relaxation it craves for. Do you have a Relaxation Toolbox? I do and it’s filled with tricks of the trade for ultimate peaceful comfort.
It’s true. I swear on occasion. Actually, that’s not entirely true. I swear often. Hmmmm, maybe I can be more honest. I F&$!*Kin swear all the time!I have been told I have a “Potty Mouth”. I’ve heard other charming expressions such as: gutter mouth, dirty mouth, toilet mouth, foul mouthed and my favourite, muck-spout. I enjoy hearing that I “swear like a trooper” or I “swear like a sailor”!
Many people have stated that along their career paths, others have tried to discourage them. Telling them they are not good enough, not great enough and will never make it. So many people have been wrong as success is truly within YOU. I’m glad I didn’t listen to that nasty, horrible, career destroying person. I listened to me and the encouragement from other professionals. Listen to you! You know what’s best for you! You know YOU!!!
“Hear All About It!” “Hot Off the Press!” “Scandals and Rascals!” Those were the anthems of the corner newspaper boys. How is the news going to jump off the screen and grab your attention? Perhaps computer screens need to be 3-D like the newspaper boys?
The minute there is a cool breeze, my hat is on. It might start in mid-October and stay on until Mid-May. Even cool nights in the summer are a great time to wear a hat. Overtime I’ve become a Hat Advocate! During the Fall and Winter, even the early Spring I insisted my children wear a hat. Maybe I sound like my mother, yelling at them when they leave our home? Although my children will describe me more as a Hat Maniac now!
How do I control myself from not eating the whole thing? Ok, it’s easy not to eat the whole thing because if I do that, I will certainly become sick. Although, the thought seriously crossed my mind at the onset of opening and smelling the sweets. How will I control myself not to eat it all in a few days? Rations, my Dear Watson!
By trying new physical activities or mental challenges, we grow as individuals. We allow ourselves to interact with the world in a different way. We meet new people and expand our minds and bodies. Perhaps we will find a new hobby, love, or interest. Right now I’m learning ASL – American Sign Language and I love it!
We keep it going! We move it forward! Let’s GO!
Perhaps the more you know how to do something; the more reliable you are at doing it.
I suppose I must continue to run up the hill at a controlled pace in order to get to the very top without running out of breath. I will need to do this often enough to be able to maintain a successful pace too. I will continue to teach those newbies on the foothills to pace before venturing up, for investing in their success will help share the succession of the hill.
STOP!!!! I’m not answering any more questions! It almost feels as though I’ve been undressed. It’s bad enough when I travel sometimes my body is scanned at the security checkpoint. I feel that totally violates my body. This friend actually interrogates me. Maybe the FBI or the CIA or the RCMP or CSI anything needs her? It’s not about the actual questions; it’s more about the amount of questions.
Perhaps I’m feeling as autumn does the changing of my leaves. The beautiful crimson colours the trees and bushes change into. The newly crisp flowy air with less humidity. The lifting of summer’s glee with preparation for winter’s roar! I look forward to autumn and I do love when it’s here. But as the flowers, I too have become exhausted and require some rest.
There were only a few differences between my jumpsuit and Elvis’. The buttons on my suit were plastic and his were metal. The weight of my suit was somewhat lighter than his. Elvis’ suit was much tighter to his body than mine. I also added the cape and some red satin lining for image effect. However, at the end of the night, my body was exhausted from wearing such a heavy suit. I didn’t dance and sing under hot lights in it. I didn’t sweat like crazy in it. I didn’t perform in front of 30,000 + screaming fans in it. I just wore it and walked around smiling. The next day I needed Advil every four hours to deal with my shoulder and back pains. My knees were also aching from the platform boots. I couldn’t imagine wearing this jumpsuit night after night…
He opened the door and I closed my eyes and started a countdown in my mind. 50… la la la … 49… la la la … 48… la la la … I got to around 45 when I realized the palms of his hands were in fact godly.
A really good laugh can exhaust you in a way that makes you feel good inside.
